Headteacher Suneetha Prasad writes: I am very glad to inform you that  our school 10th class students all have  passed with good marks. The highest marks were 9.8 points out of 10 points, but every student got good marks. Thank you

 Despite a recent scare when a large poisonous snake was found in the school grounds, the staff and pupils of Gateway School have been able to enjoy celebrations commemorating Indian Independence Day. Each school day always starts by singing the Indian

Once again Third Day fans have proved their generosity by raising over $21,000 for the Gateway School and Children's home. On the recent 'Miracle' tour in the USA, Nigel James auctioned an Indian elephant collage artwork each night in the VIP reception and

 

 Ignite India church Kavalagoyya has opened a sewing centre to enable widows and poor women to begin to be self-sufficient. 4 new sewing machines have been provided to enable this great initiative. More sewing machines are needed across all the Ignite

 

 Richard Tugwell was able to put to good use a financial donation made by his employers, Morrison's management team, in Cardiff. Purchasing cricket bats, balls, stumps, badminton rackets, nets, hoops, skippin ropes, a Carrom board and a volleyball, Richard

 

 A new science classroom at the Gateway School was opened by Linda Murray recently, in memory of Ross Miller. Our sincere thanks goes to the family who generously made this loving gesture.

 

 From funding gathered by Linda Murray in the UK, the Gateway School has been able to purchase 4 buffalo to provide milk and some income for the school. Within 24 hours of purchase, 2 of the buffaloes had calves! 

 

The recent mission team led by Nigel James was able to conduct 2 pastors conferences for 150 pastors and their wives, with the main teaching coming from David Oliver on 'The Holy Spirit.' Leading on from that came a 2-night Blessings Festival at the Come

Children living at the Gateway Children’s Home now have the benefit of a new dining hall thanks to Ignite supporters. As you can see from the photos it is well built and furnished and the children can be seen enjoying a celebratory meal. We thank

 

When: provisionally July 10th - 20th 2012 Gary Smith will be leading a trip to India to observe and participate in the work of Ignite India and Gateway ministries. Participants can expect to experience visiting churches in a variety of rural and hill

 

Visitors from the UK Linda Murray and Evelyn Houiellebecq went to visit the lepers in the church provided by Ignite Supporters. As you can see from the pictures (see the Ignite India Gallery) it is also used in the week as a community meeting place. Linda

 

 On their recent trip, Linda and Evelyn were privileged to attend the opening of the latest Ignite church. In the village of Kavalagoyya, it is led by Prasad's father, Pastor Victor. This is the 17th church that has been constructed through Ignite.
